DEA Tableting and Encapsulating Machines Discussion

July 23 and 24, 9:30-11:30am & 1:30-3:30pm

The Drug Enforcement Administration Diversion Control Division is hosting discussion sessions for entities that handle regulated machines (tableting and encapsulating machines). These sessions will facilitate an exchange of information between DEA, manufacturers, distributors, importers and exporters of regulated machines. These meetings will offer information about regulatory procedures including reporting and record keeping requirements, and are to solicit feedback from industry regarding current challenges and proposed regulatory and legislative solutions to address those challenges. You are invited to attend one of these discussions either in-person at DEA Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, or virtually. Up to three representatives from each invited company may attend, but each person needs to register separately. Please note that sessions will be held on the following dates and times.

Ohio Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conference

August 2 and 3, 2024

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in partnership with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (OSBOP) is holding an Ohio Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conference (PDAC) on Friday, August 2nd, and Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. This Ohio PDAC will be an 8-hour conference and will cover pharmacy burglaries and robberies, DEA recordkeeping, e-scripts, civil and criminal repercussions for failing to maintain records/inventories, OARRS and much much more. This conference will also provide all Pharmacists who attend with 6.5 hours of continuing education credits. It should be noted the same agenda will be on both days, so pick which day works with your schedule.

The Ohio PDAC will be held at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel, 409 Altair Parkway, Westerville, Ohio 43082. Below is the registration link to register for this FREE event. DEA Diversion Investigators from the Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus offices will be around both days to answer any questions you have, as well as representatives from the OSBOP will be present for any Ohio State questions or concerns.
